Minh (Kenny) Luong, M.D.

Board Certified Family Medicine

Dr. Luong was raised in San Jose, California. He received his undergraduate degree at the University of California Riverside. He later received a scholarship and obtained his medical doctor degree from St. Matthew's University in the Grand Cayman Islands. He completed his residency in Family Practice at Mclaren Regional Medical Center--Michigan State University, where he also served as chief resident. Dr. Luong also completed a fellowship at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in Faculty Development. He is currently a member of the American Academy of Family Medicine, Arizona Geriatrics Society, and American Geriatric Society.

 

His interests include musculoskeletal conditions, cardiac health, minor surgical procedures, and healthy living. He is also fluent in English, Vietnamese, and has working knowledge in Spanish. He has 3 wonderful children. His hobbies include technological gadgets, baseball, and hiking.

 

Priscilla Luong, DNP

Doctor of Nursing Practice, Board Certified Adult Nurse Practitioner

Dr. Luong was born and raised in California. She obtained her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona and her Master of Science and Bachelor of Science nursing degrees from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Luong's background is in cardiac care. She started her career as a registered nurse in the cardiac care unit prior to advancing her education as a nurse practitioner. Her experience in cardiology served as a vantage point for her doctoral studies. Her doctoral studies focused on high blood pressure management and home blood pressure monitoring. Dr. Luong is nationally certified in adult health. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and Arizona Geriatrics Society. She is also an inducted member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.


Dr. Luong’s philosophy of care encompasses a comprehensive and individualized approach. She has special interests in preventive care, women's health care, and dermatology. She has also volunteered at several community health events and held discussions on topics such as shingles, immunizations, and heart health. On a personal note, Dr. Luong enjoys some of the more simple things in life, such as spending time with her family, hiking, and traveling.
